Sur la demande de notre ami, Karma Sherpa, Président de « The Small World » à Kathmandu, nous avons créé notre association « TAKSINDU TSW FRANCE NÉPAL » en 2007. Nous figurons au Journal Officiel.
Depuis 11 ans, nous venons en aide aux familles démunies, aux enfants par la scolarisation. Nous avons participé à la construction d'écoles dans le Solukhumbu, à la restauration d’écoles en mauvais état, à la construction d’abris après les séismes de 2015.
L'ÉDUCATION EST NOTRE PRIORITÉ.
Au Népal, la scolarisation des filles n'est pas une priorité.
Des enfants peuvent aller à l'école grâce aux parrainages. ils ont l'espoir d'une vie meilleure, et pourront mieux s'intégrer dans leur communauté. Des parrains/ marraines, des membres du bureau les rencontrent lors de séjours au Népal. En 2018, 33 enfants sont parrainés.
Depuis 2015, 10 étudiantes sont parrainées par l'association afin de suivre leurs études à Kathmandu. Les familles ne peuvent les aider à financer les cours à l'université.

Trois ans après les séismes la reconstruction des maisons, des écoles dans les villages de montagne continue, toujours avec la même volonté de la population de se redresser. L'entraide permet de garder l'espoir.
Et le sourire est toujours aussi accueillant.

At the request of our friend, Karma Sherpa, President of "The Small World" in Kathmandu, we created our association "TAKSINDU TSW FRANCE NEPAL" in 2007. We are listed in the Official Journal.
For 11 years, we have been helping poor families and children through schooling. We participated in the construction of schools in the Solukhumbu, the restoration of schools in bad condition, the construction of shelters after the earthquakes of 2015.
EDUCATION IS OUR PRIORITY.
In Nepal, girls' schooling is not a priority.
Children can go to school thanks to sponsorships. they have hope for a better life, and can better integrate into their community. Godparents, members of the office meet them during stays in Nepal. In 2018, 33 children are sponsored.
Since 2015, 10 students have been sponsored by the association to study in Kathmandu. Families can not help them finance university courses.

Three years after the earthquakes the reconstruction of houses, schools in mountain villages continues, always with the same desire of the population to recover. Caring helps to keep hope.
And the smile is always so welcoming.
