The Everest View Trek is a shorter, more accessible version of the famous Everest Base Camp trek, offering stunning Himalayan panoramas—including views of the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest.
This trek provides a perfect blend of breathtaking natural beauty, cultural immersion in Sherpa communities, and a fully supported physical challenge. This trip is ideal for adventurous travelers seeking a rewarding experience who are willing to travel to a new place with an open mind.
Our carefully guided trek involves an average of five hours of walking each day, ensuring a comfortable pace that allows you to fully absorb the scenery and local culture. This journey is designed not only to push your personal limits but also to offer a fresh perspective on the world by standing among it’s tallest peaks, meeting hardworking Sherpa people, and hearing their inspiring stories of resilience while at the same time learning about their mountaineering heritage. Karma was born and raised in the area and along the way you will personally meet many of his friends and family members.
This unique trek has been thoughtfully crafted by Karma and Tamera, your guides, in response to the devastating flooding of the village of Thame in 2024. This flood, which happened because of a glacial ice dam collapsing above the village, was directly caused by climate change. It disproportionally impacted many women and children in the region, who continue to try to rebuild their lives. A portion of the proceeds from the trip will go towards supporting ongoing education and community development efforts in Thame.

Hi, I’m Tamera Bradford
Tamera is an American artist who has lived in China for the past fifteen years. She has been to Nepal countless times and has travelled extensively within the country. The thing that keeps her coming back is the diversity found there, both culturally and scenically. She believes that Nepal is one of the richest and most complex places in the world. She loves to share her knowledge of Nepal, and her many experiences there, with others so that they can understand the beauty of the place.
Hi, I’m Karma Sherpa
More than a guide, Karma Sherpa is a visionary humanitarian, devoted father, and adventure travel pioneer born in the heart of the Everest region. Raised in a village once walked by Sir Edmund Hillary, Karma grew up surrounded by the spirit of service — a spirit he has carried forward throughout his life. Alongside his wife, Sanam Doka Sherpa Karma co-founded Small World Adventures and the nonprofit The Small World. He can’t wait to take be your guide oon this trek!
